Restarting Church Service - Guidelines

  • Please do not attend if you have symptoms of Coronavirus, or if you are self-isolating

  • Hand Sanitiser is provided by the doors, please use this on your way in to the building

  • Masks or face coverings must be worn during the service and when moving around the building, unless you are exempt from wearing them on health grounds. They can be removed when seated for tea and coffee after the service.

Entering the Building

  • Everyone over the age of 16 must sign in when entering the building, using either the test and trace app or the paper form by the door.
  • Where possible, please use the main church entrance (at the top of the steps), with the top door just for those who cannot enter this way.

  • You can sit in groups of unto 6 people or 2 households. However, please be aware that not everyone will feel comfortable sitting in groups and so please be courteous and check before you sit next to someone.
  • The cloakroom will not be open, so please keep all personal belongings with you.

The Service

  • For the time being we are unable to offer Sunday School classes and children will need to stay with parents or guardians at all times. The creche will be available with a small selection of toys if needed.

  • Whilst we will still include music in our worship, congregational singing is prohibited, so we must ask that you do not sing.

  • The collection will be replaced by a retiring offering. If you wish to give, please place your gifts into the bowls by the door on your way into or out of the building.

  • We are unable to distribute the church bibles. If you wish to follow the passage you may bring a bible from home.

  • We are now able to offer tea and coffee after the service, however you must remain in the same group that you sat in for the service and refrain from moving between groups.
  • The refreshments will be served from a classroom at the side of church and we ask that only one person at a time comes to the table to collect drinks.
